Felipe grew up in Rio, Brazil. After a non-voluntary year in the army he decided he really didn’t like waking up early or humidity and moved to Australia.
He graduated from the University of Queensland with degrees in Business Management and Information Tech and moved to Sydney to work at IBM where he was a business intelligence specialist and started getting interested in machine learning.
Felipe then decided he didn’t like waking up early or on-premise software and joined Salesforce’s Business Development team. After automating some of his day job using Python scripts and Selenium his boss “promoted” him to the Solution Engineering team where he has happily remained ever since.
After 15 years in Australia he decided he didn’t like waking up early or huge spiders and is now a Heroku Solution Engineer working in Brussels supporting the Northern Europe team.
