mostly working on backend systems, he got fed up with being closed in a room writing code all the time. Hence he become a developer evangelist. Nevertheless he still writes code, reaching for the boundaries of IoT technology. And, yes, IoT is 95% software - don't be fooled by the deafening hum about hardware.
