Building your First Serverless Web Application
Gone are the days of needing to manage servers for running your web-based applications, of needing to think about capacity management, and spending time configuring and patching them. This workshop will teach you how to build a reactive web application with a serverless backend. You'll learn how to host static web resources, how to manage users and authentication, and how to build both RESTful APIs and GraphQL interfaces for accessing data and service APIs.
You’ll learn best practices for configuration and deployment, how to think about automating your CI/CD processes, and how to follow best practices for security. You will also see how to handle monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting of the entire application stack. By the end you’ll be able to build your own serverless web applications with a mix of AWS services such as Amazon S3, Amazon Amplify, AWS Lambda, AWS AppSync, and Amazon API Gateway.
